Internet Judge Multimedia (US Only)
The role of an Internet Judge is to review web content available on the internet and help determine its classification based on a set of guidelines. This is a part-time role and applicants must be in a position to work up to 20 hours per week (depending on availability of work); four hours a day between the hours of 7am to 9pm, your local time zone, Monday to Friday.
Role: of Internet Judge
- Evaluating image/ video content providing accuracy based on a set of guideline criteria.
- Responsible for own time management and ensuring work is completed within the acceptable working day.
- Rating a set of data queries based on images / videos using online tools.
- A number of tasks may be assigned for completion each day; these will be assigned by your Lead via online tools. Training will be provided for any additional tasks prior to being assigned. You must be adaptable to all tasks assigned. All tasks must be completed by you only.
- Quality metrics will be assigned based on your tasks. You will be responsible to reach all expected metric criteria.
Qualifications
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with strong time management ability
- Excellent communication skills and strong proficiency with MS Office
- Good understanding of online search tools
- Have up-to-date knowledge of US media, culture and current affairs
- Strong analytical skills: research, analyse and interpret data
To work on this project successfully, you will need:
- A computer less than three years old
- A screen resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels; we recommend higher resolutions to improve your judging experience.
- An adequate amount of RAM for high-volume internet use (we recommend at least 2GB)
- Working sound card and speakers
- High-speed, broadband, internet connection; depending on your setup and the level of interference in your environment, you may find that working with a hard-wired connection to your home router is faster and more reliable than using a wireless connection.
- Microsoft Windows operating system (Vista or 7)
- Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer version 8
- Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 or later
- Current, up-to-date commercial anti-virus software; see Section 1.5 for details.
