  • Lionbridge Secures Agreement with Dell as Strategic Provider for Global Online Content; Expects New Client Programme to Generate Approximately $8 Million Annually

    Lionbridge Enables Market-Leading Technology Company to Centralise Translation Processes and Reduce Costs

    WALTHAM, Mass. - 25 June 2009 - Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX) today announced its agreement with Dell, a leading technology provider to commercial enterprises around the world. Lionbridge has been named a strategic provider for translation and language quality review for Dell's global online content group. Lionbridge will translate web content, online marketing content, desktop publishing content and training material across 30 languages. Lionbridge’s LQS Group, a division of Lionbridge Localisation Group, will also perform a full review and audit of all translations from a variety of sources.

    Dell selected Lionbridge based on its global scale, advanced language technology and Lionbridge's ability to deliver a joint innovation platform to help Dell improve processes and provide a greater return on their localisation investments. Lionbridge was also selected because of its ability to combine language quality and localisation in an integrated, highly-efficient process.
